NEWSLETTER – APRIL 2025
Feedback on trip to Raby Castle Tuesday, 25th March.
A fabulous day out at Raby was enjoyed by all. Voted 9/10 by the Committee!
Fish & Chips lunch at the Wensleydale Heifer, Thursday, 10th April.
Drivers will be notified next week, so if you’re going along as a passenger, please look out for your nominated driver who will contact you by phone or email.

Update on Tulip Festival, Constable Burton, Bank Holiday Monday, 5th May.
The festival opens from 10am – 4pm. Drivers will leave Middleham at their own convenience, but the earlier the better, as it gets crowded.
£10pp entry to be paid at the general meeting on 15th April in a sealed envelope you’re your name, amount and event please.
There will be a marquee for light lunches, cakes and cream teas.
The clipboard for this event will be available at the next general meeting.
This event is paid for in advance, so we appreciate your co-operation, with payments to be received at the next general meeting, please.

Trip to Scampston Hall & Gardens, Malton – date change.
Scampston Hall & Gardens in Malton will now be Wednesday, 11th June.
Entry is just £9.00pp, as the coach is subsidised for this trip.
Coach will leave Middleham at 8.30am after the usual pick-ups.
A clipboard will circulate at the next general meeting.

WiM Committee - General Update.
The names and contact numbers of the WiM Committee will now be on every Newsletter.
To avoid confusion, any future upcoming events featured in the Newsletter, will have the contact name and details of the organising Committee member, therefore, any questions from members are to be directed to the organiser only, and not the general WiM email address.
General Meetings.
Speaker Joanne Aston - The Mitford Men - was very interesting, and well received at the March general meeting.

Speaker: Andy Wilson – 100 years of Yorkshire Cancer Research.
