NEWSLETTER – NOVEMBER 2025

Feedback on Wensleydale Hotel Lunch Wednesday 8th October.

A lovely afternoon, good food – 30 were in attendance. A popular annual event.

Update on York Trip Monday 17th November.

Update on Castle Howard Christmas Outing Monday 1st December.

There are 3 spaces available, contact via the WiM email if you want to grab a seat. Payment for this event is £26.

The coach will pick up at Kingsley Drive and Key Centre and will depart from Middleham Top Cross at 8.45am.

The tour will commence at 10.30am.

Annual Lunch at the Bell Barn, Wednesday, 28th January 2026.

The clipboard for this coveted event will be available at the next WiM meeting. (Details below).

The menu is comprised of three choices for each course.

The cost is £30 x 2 courses or £35 x 3 courses.

The coach to leave Top Cross at 11.45am after the usual pick-ups.

Coach will return to Middleham between 3.00-3.30pm.

AGM Tuesday, 18th November and a talk about Sourdough bread baking with Lisa Wallace.

Secretary Wendy Hallett will speak on behalf of President Kim Hughes. Kim would like to stand as president for 2026, and she’ll be elected in her absence.

Wendy will also talk about the Christmas meeting at the Key Centre and the annual lunch at the Bell Barn in January 2026.

WiM members are advised that if they have any matters arising, to speak to a committee member.

Christmas Meeting at the Key Centre, Thursday, 11th December.

Please bring a plate – i.e. sandwiches, sausage/veggie rolls, quiche, cakes etc.
