WOMEN IN MIDDLEHAM

1. Feedback on Fish & Chip Lunch at Wensleydale Heifer Thursday 10th April
A great lunch with a total of 20 ladies attending. Excellent food and service. The Committee voted 9/10.

3. Feedback on Constable Burton Tulip Festival BH Monday 5th May
A small group attended, all of whom enjoyed the trip and wonderful tulips. Particularly good refreshments in the refreshment tent with lots of seating.

4. Trip to Scampston Hall & Gardens, Malton Wednesday 11th June
The Clipboard will be out at the May meeting. Please bring payment in a sealed envelope with your name, amount and event on.
Cost for members is just £9 which gives entry into the gardens. For those wanting to do a tour of the house as well this can be booked and paid for on the day.
Guests are very welcome to come at a cost of £24, which includes the coach.
There is an on-site café or bring a picnic to have in the extensive grounds.
Coach will leave Middleham at 8.30 pm after the usual pick-ups.

5. Sunday Lunch Wyvill Arms Constable Burton 22nd June
Clipboard will be out at the May meeting along with menu choices.
Main courses £18.45, dessert choices optional on the day. No pre-payment required.

6. Annual trip to Brancepeth Castle Tuesday 8th July
Clipboard will be out at the May general meeting
Includes refreshments on arrival, private tour and small afternoon tea.
Cost for members is £29. Guests are welcome at a cost of £44 (This includes the coach cost). Please pay at the General Meeting on Tuesday 20th May in a sealed envelope with name amount and event on please.
Sensible shoes suggested, stilettos not advised !

8. General Meetings
Speaker Andy Wison speaking about skin cancer at the April Meeting was very interesting and informative.
Clipboards for Scampston Hall (11th June) Wyvill Arms Sunday lunch (22nd June) and Brancepeth Castle (8th July) will be out at the next meeting
Speaker for May Meeting Karen Adams Trials and Executions at York
