WOMEN IN MIDDLEHAM
1. Update on Scampston Hall & Gardens Wednesday 11th June
There are 2 spare tickets for this trip please contact Julia via email if you would like to attend and have not yet signed up.
Coach will leave the Top Cross Middleham at 8.30 am after the usual pick-ups then pick up from Park View, Leyburn.
The £9 cost (£24 for guests) covers entry into the gardens. A tour of the house can be booked and paid for on the day. There is an on- site café and picnic areas.
Coach will leave the Hall around 3/3.30 pm depending on weather.

2. Update on Sunday Lunch Wyvil Arms Constable Burton 22nd June
Main courses £18.45 dessert choices optional on the day. No pre – payment pay on day.
Cars will leave Middleham at 12.00 pm.
Drivers/passengers will be contacted.
Please make a contribution for petrol to the driver of £2.

3. Update on The Annual Outing Brancepeth Castle Tuesday 8th July.
Clipboard will be out at the June meeting for final numbers.
Cost for members is £29 guests are very welcome at a cost of £44 (this includes the coach) Sensible shoes required.
Please could all those who have not paid yet bring payment in a sealed envelope with name and trip on, to June meeting.
Trip includes refreshments on arrival, private tour and small afternoon tea.
Coach will be leaving Top cross Middleham at 9am with the usual pick-ups and a pick up from Park View Leyburn.
Please contact Carron if you wish to go on the trip but are not able to go to the June meeting.

4. Update on Catterick Race Day Tuesday 5th August.
Salute our Heros Family Day – should be a great fun day out.
There will be a clipboard at the June meeting. Guests are very welcome.
£16 for over 65’s £17 full price. Members /guests to buy their own tickets either online or at the gate on the day.
Cars will be leaving Middleham appox. 12.30 pm. £3 contribution for petrol to the driver.

5. Update on Afternoon Tea Stone House Hotel Tuesday 2nd September.
This is a lovely hotel near Hawes doing a wonderful afternoon tea in a great setting.
Cost £24.50 to include sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls, scones with cream & jam, lemon posset, macaroons and chocolate dipped strawberries.
Tea at 2.15 pm cars leaving Middleham at 1.30 pm (£3 petrol contribution to driver).
There will be a clipboard at June meeting.

6. WIM’s Questionaire.
The committee are looking forward to receiving your completed questionnaires to help us plan meetings and events for next year. We would really welcome your thoughts so we can tailor next year’s activities to suit as many of you as we can.
Please bring them to the June meeting or drop them off with one of the committee members. There will be more copies at the June meeting. Please also find a form attached to this Newsletter if you would prefer to reply online.
7. General Meetings.
Speaker Tony Nicholson is back in June to talk about Secrets of The Attic (Part 3).
Clipboards for Brancepeth Castle (8th July), Catterick Race Day (5th August) and Afternoon Tea at Stone House Hotel (2nd September ) will all be available at the June meeting.
